I was reading some "Spideypool" fics which is how I got an understanding on Deadpool's insecurity about his face, which is why he wears his mask mainly. I find it a pretty cool concept and really sweet how the love interest (Spider-Man/Peter Parker in the fics I read) is able to (sometimes) convince him that they don't care what he looks like. Which is true, I mean yeah he always makes me think of Freddy Krueger when I see the scars but it's his personality (Deadpool/Wade's) I love about him. lol

So that's what's going on here. Meg isn't shallow obviously but it does take quite a bit to convince Wade she won't react in disgust. I guess right here they've made some progress because he's let her go this far. I really wanna do a fic for this too just because I love the whole idea of it. And I don't care what anyone says, if you hate the pairing fine. If you like it at least, great, it's nice to have some support. But I am not going to change my views for anything but my own loss of interest. Which I hope won't be for a long time because "Deadpool" (as in the franchise, not the character) is one of those things I'm sure will stick with me. Like South Park.

Art wise though...I have to admit I really don't think I did his face justice...It's supposed to look worse than that I think but I did this without a reference so give me a break... Meg's also got her bangs hiding her eyes because I couldn't get them right and just thought 'why not have both their eyes hidden?' so I did.

Meg: And she was too lazy to try very hard.

... Oh yeah, and she's standing on a box or something. That's the only reason she's the same height as Wade here.
