This is related to a short story I may write after I make the story or comic (possibly comic so I can get more practice on drawing humans) that started it all. Some of you will probably remember my picture first introducing Yami, the first born of Megara and...Darkrai...In the Pokemon universe.
This is something very similar but for the How to Train Your Dragon related version and in it, instead of being part dragon or something, Meg was turned into a Night Fury in order to help Darkrai when he was forced into an arranged marriage years ago. While as a Night Fury, Darkrai and Meg (going by Mega as a Night Fury) became official mates. At this time Mega also learned she was with eggs (that is the only way I can say it comfortably...) and after laying them while they were still eggs she was turned into a human again by someone else.
Despite this her kids knew their mother even in her original form (and just to give them all a happy ending Mega's able to turn into a dragon at will now) and because of her new gift they two can become humans. Like in 'Wolf Children' though they have a hard time staying in one form though (this idea is based quite a lot after that amazing film).
So anyway, this is baby Yami (who is a girl if anyone's wondering) feeding from some milk (basically since Meg was a Night Fury when they were 'born' she was never pregnant...Not in the way humans are anyway so...Certain things didn't happen to her body...) in a bottle. This is unfortunately before the invention of baby bottles so she had to learn at an early age (Night Furies are smart anyway) to drink the way she is. At first though both wouldn't get all of it in their mouths and some would dribble down their chins like a real baby.
I used a lineart from
for this. Both because I could never draw it myself and because I was inspired to do this at all because of it. I also had to trace over the signature as well...Mainly because if I had left it as it was on the original lineart it would have looked bad. So I hope that was ok.
