Scar and Nyx-Back Off!

Second time drawing Nyx...A little better but still could be better than that.

When you harm the scar bearer's family, you get the fangs. Scar is a rather overprotective adoptive father and I'm sure he would protect Nyx from all the haters even if they weren't to physically harm her (which as you can see, some did).

Part of the reason for this post is because I read a conversation on a deviation about alicorn OCs (it was a good one. This person was supporting and accepting them) and they mentioned something called 'Nyx Abuse' which I had never heard of before. I Googled it and saw that it was a real thing and there were some pretty harsh pictures like Nyx being shish-kabobed on a spear (in other words, impaled straight through from the mouth to the backside) with blood and tears and another of her being stuffed in a sack and about to be tossed into a river. And by Twilight too.

So this, in a way, is my reaction. I have not read 'Past Sins' yet but I have read and heard some really good reviews on it. Now, this is where I will start another rant (sorry guys but I want to say my piece)

People call Nyx a 'Mary-Sue' because she is not only an alicorn but one that claims to have once been Night Mare Moon when clearly Luna was. Well think about it with a more open mind. There is a comic on here that tells someone's theory on how Luna became Night Mare Moon in the first place (I think it's called 'The True Story' or something like that) and how it involved a creature from space that merged with her. Others say that she found a spell that went wrong because it was fueled by her hatred and loneliness. And still more say Discord or another villain was behind it. We also have 'Team Awesome' where Night Mare Moon was her own pony completely, originally called 'Dream' and being the twin sister of Luna.

The point is, Past Sins is just someone's theory on what happened to Night Mare Moon and then turned into something more. I'm sure Past Sins was written before season 2 or 3 of My Little Pony as well and all those other theories were created then as well. So really I think it's pointless to bash a character based off of a theory and a fanfiction. No Nyx is not canon to the series but neither are any of the other characters we call OCs. So if you're going to bash one just because she's apart of a theory and a story written for fun, then you might as well bash all of them.

Oh and yes, wolfdras are sometimes that big at Scar's age. Celestia would be up to his shoulder and Luna a little below so he's huge.
