I'm thinking of doing some kind of story related to a "The Walking Dead"-like zombie apocalypse. Reason being I was watching Pewdiepie's old let's play of the game for it. I thought the concept was pretty cool, even if it's depressing and heartbreaking all at once, and thought I'd do something related to it.
For my idea I was thinking that when the 'walkers' started invading and humans were struggling to survive (note that like "The Walking Dead" which makes no sense in how you are zombie-fied, this story also does not follow a strictly scientific, realistic take on the scenario like in "The Last of Us".) and that's when other races long forgotten came out of hiding. With the humans worrying about the walking dead, they really wouldn't have time or the strength to worry about other monsters.
Though some of these monsters held grudges, others like the Black Dragons joined groups of human survivors. Protecting them and sometimes leading them. Megara is one of them. She started out on her own, devoting her time to putting the dead out of their misery for good but keeping away from humans. One day though she helped a family of three. As thanks they invited her over for dinner at their base (it was a time when they had a good amount of supplies but were still new to surviving on rations). Of course at first the others didn't trust her and feared because she was a dragon (granted one with the ability to shape-shift) she'd need more food than a normal human. You can imagine how she reacted to that...
So anyway, yes this would be some character sketches of Megara (or Mega/Megan). As of now she's actually the leader of her little 'family', protecting and fighting along side them at all cost.
